Description

Summary

THIS IS NOT A PRESSURE VESSEL THE ONLY THING HOLING PRESSURE IS THE MASS PRODUCED VALVE

This core works in the same way as Colin's core if you want a proper explanation on how this core works check out his reedit post. We are friends and this has been made alongside his blaster and core. We both started our projects at around the some time based off the same concept.

To make this core you will need
30mm 9/16 brass
100mm 17/32 brass
2 of the large caliburn o-rings (Dash -123)
1 of the small caliburn o-rings (Dash -012)
100mm of caliburn plunger tube
A 1/8inch npt push connector of your choice
A https://www.mcmaster.com/9657K454 spring
7x 2.5mm nuts i like these https://www.mcmaster.com/90592A080
7x 2.5mm screws i like these https://www.mcmaster.com/91430A083
a micro arduino to control the vavle
a buck converter to power the arduino
a mosfet broad because you cant run 12V in the arduino
and a solenoid valve
I use this one

1) Put the 9/16 into the breech, glue and flare the brass in place
2) Do the same method for the 17/32 in the plunger.
3) make sure the 17/32 has been cut on the ram end with a pipe cutter so that it is flared inwards
4) superGlue an o-ring into the groove at the base of the spike
5) put both end caps into caliburn plunger tube material and drill appropriate holes
6) counter sink the hole so the caps of the screws sit flush
7) install the push connector with teflon tape
8) Lube everything install the sping, the plunger, and the end caps
9) done
10) if you have question about the making of this core please contact me on reddit (u/1megajoey)

for the wiring I don't have the ability to make a proper wiring diagram but I have included the code for the arduino that I use. You would need to change the timing because each core has it's own friction.

Also I printed all of the parts on my prusa MK3 so you might have some tolerance issues.
