Description

Featuring the X-Tee: The Extreme Golf Tee

Hello Makerworld!

So happy to release this project that I have been working on and adapted into a convenient kit card! I designed this golf tee as an improved replacement for the traditional wooden tee. It features a wide X-axis to support the ball on inclines or over small debris, minimized contact surface area to reduce drag on the ball from the tee, and sturdy construction to ensure multiple tee-offs with the same tee. I would love your feedback, especially after some time at the driving range or on the course. I hope to continue to improve the design to bring convenience and functionality to the golfing community. Thank you for your support and feedback!

Model Guidelines:

The model was designed from scratch on Fusion 360 by myself. I optimized the design for a 0.4mm nozzle, and I highly recommend keeping to a 0.2mm layer height. This is my first kit card design, and I went through a dozen iterations to improve the assembly tolerances and card stability. However, there is still more room for improvement. I find that the small pegs detach very easily, and often while removing it from the plate. I do apologize for this; I hope to address this defect in future developments.

Printing Guidelines:

Print profiles have been verified and successfully printed on the A1 using textured and smooth patterned plates with PLA. Feel free to print directly from the Handy App or Bambu Studio. I have also tested ironing the top surface; assembly and fit remain unchanged. Recommend PLA or PETg.

Considerations:

Please follow the copyright guidelines. I developed this model entirely using my tools, time, and experience. I ask that you all respect the content I bring to the community by not redistributing or republishing my work or likenesses of my designs. Doing this will help ensure I receive the proper feedback and credit to improve this model and all future work so that this community can benefit. That being said, I have no problem with anyone adding customizations to the model for their own personal use. If you are a content creator, I ask that you please credit my work IF MY WORK IS VISIBLE ON YOUR CONTENT. Thank You All!
