Description

DO NOT USE SUPPORTS - or you'll have a terrible time trying to remove everything… and the inside might not work anymore!

Combining my wife's love for Italy with mine for D&D! The Leaning Dice Tower of Pisa! It was a fun challenge trying to see how much detail I wanted to fit into this model knowing that it would need to be printed without supports, but I'm pretty happy with the results! So much so I had to go get some better color filament to complete the look… Inside the tower are two conical ramps to help spin the dice as it goes down, and one more ramp to shoot the dice out the bottom.

Be warned! The print can be fairly challenging with all the small details, but it's fun to watch these bambu printers crush all the bridging and overhangs on this model! I may make a second version with some dice storage but please enjoy this fun little project!

The first print I did was at 100% printer speed on the P1S and the coloums around the outside printed all weird and were falling off and broke easy. Did a 2nd print at 50% and worked way better and is solid

thank you for the input! I imagine with the small details I put in this that every print/machine might react a little differently…

Required supports to print but the supports ruined the build. This is probably a setting issue, but was a loittle more complicated than intended. At its largest setting on the A1 Mini, typical dice ndid not fit through the shoot.

the columns broke off very easy and the dice don’t quite roll out onto the base very well, but still very cool design.
