3D model description

Lately, we have been trying to get more out of the toys we already have around the house. When Duplo bricks get boring, how can we reignite the imagination and joy surrounding them?

Enter this kit - the marble run. They use Duplo bricks as building blocks for supports and towers (and maybe for decoration and landscaping as well!) All the pieces are made according to the size and height of Duplo bricks, so they can be built on a board.

Our daughter really enjoys this set, and maybe your child can too!

So, what makes this set different than other marble runs out there?

I have worked hard to make this set versatile to use, allowing for many different building combinations, as well as making it use as little material as possible, and being as easy to print as possible.

As a consequence, except from the level turn, this set prints without ANY supports, and the pieces are only about 10-15 grams each.

3D printing settings

This is what I use when printing with PLA:

Layer height: 0,15mm (but 0,2 should do the trick as well)
Temperature: whatever is recommended by your brand of PLA, but around 215 does the trick.

I added a few pictures showing two different print orientations for the level turn, and what orientation to print all other parts.

While the "standing vertical"-approach for the level turn is my favorite, it does have one quite nasty overhang which will not have a perfect finish (but it works!)
