3D model description

Ever needed somewhere nice to put your lightsabers? In a way that makes sense that it wouldn't just slice its way to the floor?

Just to be 100% clear, this is only for the stand, not the swords or lightsabers.

Star Wars-style kakedai (Japanese sword stand), designed to either hold two vibroswords or two lightsabers (there are inserts for holding up the lightsaber blades, so they don't slouch in the cups). There are multiple places to mount LEDs, including the cups that hold the swords.

There are slots on the back to hold gels and/or diffusion, to make the light windows look more interesting illuminated or not. There are also two standard-sized switch/pot mounting holes near the center. However, this is meant to be an open-ended design, so you don't actually have to follow any of my shortcuts for any of this if you don't want to.

The cups come in two styles: standard (diameter: 50mm, 1 15/16") and oversized (diameter 56mm, 2 3/8"), which will fit in any four of the seats on the vertical arms.

3D printing settings

The proud trim detail is printed separately to make painting easier (especially so that the front face plates can be printed FLAT DOWN, so that there are zero print lines on that face).
