Versatile and extremely smooth rotating paint brush and pen holder

Files:

STL files for:
- 2 different bucket designs
- 2 different brush/pen holder inserts
- 2 different trays

STEP Files for the tray and the pin holder so you can easily customize it to use steel balls or other size pins/rollers.

Size:
140mm Diameter
190mm Tall

BOM:

  • 1x M5x16mm SHCS
  • 1x 1mm M5 Washer
  • 1x M5 Self Locking Nut
  • 7x 5x18mm steel pin (available from hardware stores)

Instructions:

Images should be self explanatory. When assembling, tighten the M5 screw until you have no wobbling of the tray and still have very smooth rotational motion of the holder.

3D printing settings

Best printed in PLA, 5 top/bottom layers, 4 perimeters, 20+% infill. Printer extrusion multiplayer should be fine tuned for smooth fit and motion.

All files have been correctly oriented, just import and print.
