Description

Hi everyone this is my take on whisperit's d-pad mod. His version is good but I found it to be a little loose because of 1 single magnet. So my version uses 4 magnets.

I bought a kit that comes with everything you need (magnetic d-pads and magnets). You can get it from here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08HRWSP7Z?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details.

Once you receive the kit, you have to remove the 4 magnets from the green d-pad and put them in your printed model. The magnets are secured with pressure, so make sure you press them all the way in.

For installation you can use whisperit's guide: https://www.instructables.com/Legion-Go-D-Pad-Replacement/.

I used the AMS system for PLA filament for support interfaces. Also used 3 layers for raft.

Finally inside Bambu Studio slicer I disabled the option that is for Remove small overhangs inside Supports tab.

For print orientation I put the empty spaces for the magnets facing up.

Great mod, transforms the squeaky shallow D-Pad, into a quality responsive D-Pad like an elite controller!
