Description

POLY-BOT - Desk Pen

A small tribute to the great master

Unlike what usually happens to me, the death of a celebrity doesn't particularly affect me. This time, however, it was very different.

I first met Master Akira Toriyama through one of his early works: "Dr. Slump and Arale" In these comics, Akira portrayed himself as this little robot. Probably the most human robot of all!

Dedicated to the vice of smoking and magazines of scantily clad models. Grumpy, stern, lazy but creative. He told himself in these pages without filters as a friend, a teacher and a companion of a thousand adventures.

Thank you, Master, for how you have changed the world forever.

A.

WARNING this print requires many organic supports, be careful to remove all the trees gently, especially those near the left clamp.

There are two versions of this model: a classic one and one that can hold a pencil, pen, or drawing tool. You can find the link below:

Support Issue:beautiful idea but printed 3 times, even increased to 35% infill and gyroid with 6 walls, but supports kept breaking off most of the components 😕

I'm really sorry to hear that. Despite the model having some delicate points, you are the first to have encountered this problem (out of almost 200 downloads between this model and the classic). I even managed to print the model without any problems in gold silk (which is known to be more delicate). If you send some photos, I might be able to give you some advice, thanks!

Replying to @Gatto :
that's really sad to hear 😔 I tried even strength settings with silk (6 walls), and still lost the left hand and bottom part of the turn key 😞
