Sulaco 1:4 scale floor tile

Based on the original floor tile used in the production of the 1986 movie Aliens, the second instalment in the popular Alien franchise directed by James Cameron.
These miniature floor tiles are similar to the ones used on the 1/4 scale Sulaco cargo area.
I have designed a few versions here and are designed as follows.
The “Full Detail” files are based on the full size details found on the 1:1 scale (16.5”x 16.5”) tiles
And the “Standard Detail” files are based on the details of the 1:4 scale tiles.
I have also include “Thicker” files that are more screen accurate but will take longer to print.
The tiles print at 1:4 scale but you can increase or decrease the size to meet your needs.

Print flat and no supports required.
Recommended pint with 999 walls at 0.12 height or you preferred settings.

PLEASE NOTE: For the “Full Details” you may require a 0.2 nozzle when printing at 100%(1/4 scale) for best grip lines when using a FDM printer.

File pack includes 4 tiles in total:
Low detail based on the 1/4 scale tile.
Low detail thicker tile.
Higher detail based on the 1/1 scale tile.
Higher detail thicker tile.

If you wanted to print a full size 1:1 scale tile you would be looking at around 16.5” square and would currently need to cut the files.

Tiles work really well the ikea glass cabinets and I simply used double sided tape to hold them down.
