Description

I see a lot of airless basketball in the community… but i don't see a mini-basket to use them… HERE IS IT!

This mini hoop is designed to been used with a Size 1 ball (130mm diameter)

Print all the parts using the print profile e put M3 inserts with soldering iron in the two half boards e and the ring mount (selected holes are highlined in the last photos).

Use M3 socket head screws to secure the ring on the ring mount.

Use M3 button head screws to secure the board and the complete ring at last.

You can complete the project adding a Mini Basket Net using small ring (links below)

NOTE: If you want to scale the model… you can but remember that you have to assembly the basket with glue instead of screws.

So I printed this all out and the hoop holes are way off. Any idea what went wrong? Everything else lines up. Tried to make the holes larger but now the screws won't work.

Oh strange… I will check if all the files are ok… i didn’t have other problems. In your case if you drilled larger holes, use some M3 washers to solve the problem

Fun Print. I also had the issue with the screw holes on the junction not lining up with backboard.

It could be a good idea for the net! But real net i think is more realistic. I’ve seen that you scaled the model… remember that you can t use m3 threaded insert for the building but you have to glue the parts

What do you think about a similar style TPU net for it? Love it printing the ring now and all is great, going to be a killer office toy! (X1C, ABS White & Red, Scaled 75%)
