This is a remix of the Fallout 4 T-60 helmet model by Jace1969 on Printables, turned into a MTG Commander Deck Box. This was made for the Fallout MTG stuff that was released recently. It will fit a sleeved (Dragon Shield etc.) Commander deck, along with a compartment for dice etc. The helmet is held together using 8 15x2mm magnets. After printing it, I realized that while it is enough to hold the bottom piece together, picking up the helmet upright may result in the cards falling out. You may want to hold the helmet sideways, using the pipes as handles, to keep the cards from falling out. I used most of the settings from the print profile to make mine, the only setting that I added from mine was the infill combination, which I discovered after. That alone takes the helmet part from 18 hours to 15. Mine was printed using Bambu PLA Silver. If anyone has questions or needs the model tweaked, I will respond.

Someone messaged me asking if there could be a version that used less supports on the inside, and so I changed up the helmet part. There are now 2 new versions of the helmet, located in the Version 2 folder. I rounded out the tops of the dice and deck compartments in order to try and use less filament for supports. The “No Lip” version has just a smooth rounded out top for the deck compartment for the least amount of support. This may crease/ruin sleeves, as they will get curled on the top edges when the helmet is upside down. The “Lip” version uses a bit more support and has edges before the rounded top on the deck, so the cards shouldn't fall into the curve. The bottom part hasn't been changed and is the same between versions. While I have not printed either of these new helmets, they should both work the same, as no core measurements were changed. One tip to save more filament is to not use the 4 wall loops settings from the print profiles, as that can change the helmet filament cost by ~50 to 100g. Another tip is to use Organic Tree Supports, as they seem to use even less filament. If I think of anything else I will edit this.
