3D model description

The Pit-Row system contains a series of STL files with which you can print your own custom length pit area for your marble racing. Once printed, the pieces can be glued together to form a pit-row. Use as many middle sections to create the length you need. Print multiple garages and slide them onto the guide on the side of track to create a series of marble racing garages. The entry gate when open will draw the marbles into the pit area where they will sit awaiting for the exit gate to open. When open, the marbles will continue onto the racetrack. The pictures show a pit with 2 middle sections.

The 3D Models included in this download are: (assembly is required)

This set comes with the following STL Files:
* Track entrance (track section where the marbles may enter pit-row)
* Track middle (track section which extends the length of pit-row, you can use as many as you need)
* Track exit (track section where the marbles exit pit-row)
* Entrance gate (the divider which directs the marble into pit row)
* Exit gate (the divider which holds the marbles in pit row and then releases them)
* Marble guides (3 pieces which if used will narrow pit row to a single marble width)
* Pit Garage (a single garage which slides into a slot on the pit-row track. You can use as many as you need)
* Servo tray (to be used with an electronic servo(s) which could automate the gates on pit-row)

This add-on kit can be used with the 3D Marble Sports Racing track.

A marble racetrack is different than a marble run. The race track is wide and allows multiple marbles to race side by side instead of in a straight line like most marble runs. This allows you to race the marbles and see which marble is fastest. Each marble is unique in size, weight and roundness. This makes for some interesting marble racing.
