Kit of parts to make a wooden case or box. Includes parts for attaching a rope handle, latches, lock, and protectors to avoid scratching the wood.

To place the fasteners correctly you must be adjusting the inclination of the piece and the tension of the screws.

The fastening mechanism of the case includes some plastic washers in case it is necessary to make it tighter. I recommend using double-sided tape to test before screwing it.

The screws I used had a diameter of 2mm, the length should be adjusted to the thickness of the material you are going to use so that they do not protrude through the other side of the wood. It seems obvious but I have seen people who have been doing carpentry for a long time and they still make this mistake.

The handle/handle of the case is made from from a tutorial in which a similar one was made but it was closed, to leave it open I had to improvise, on YouTube there are surely tutorials of similar things.

What I had to buy were the hinges, due to lack of time, I had planned to make some also from 3D printing.

3D printing settings

It is printed at 0.2 mm on an Anycubic mega X. The material used is PLA.

Time: around 2 hours for the larger sets of parts.

Filler used: 10% in all parts.
