3D model description

I found myself needing to replace one of the Bed End Caps on my Apache camper and could not find any 3D models online. I modelled up the Bed End Cap from measurements from an existing one and after 6 versions, I think this is really close to the original.

I hope it is helpful in repairing your Apache camper and enjoy camping.

I used OnShape for most of the modelling, but ended up using TinkerCAD to angle one of the pieces on the back side.

You can either lay this flat on the front side or on the outside end, you will probably have to do some post processing sanding or use something to smooth or fill in some rough areas.

Since this is an exterior part, you will want to use PETG or ABS and sand and paint afterwards. You will definitely want to use Adaptive layer height settings in your slicer to minimize sanding afterwards.

Make sure that your printer is calibrated for dimensional accuracy. Look up CNC Kitchen's Califlower print video on YouTube for setting dimensional accuracy.

Depending on the speed of your printer, you can print one Bed End Cap anywhere from 3-4 hrs to 10-12 hrs. Find a speed and quality that you are comfortable with.

Screenshots show the 2 different ways that you can position the Bed End Cap models.
