Honestly, I have no idea what these are. Bubbles? Carbon atoms? Tactile sculpture? Conjoined snowmen? They're definitely fun to play with.

The snaps are “asexual” because they do not have “male” and “female” sides. Any snap will connect with another snap in one of two orientations. Don’t read too much into this.

For each piece, print one of each hemisphere and four “swivel Snaps.” Before assembling, be sure that you have removed any access brim or supports.

The first swivel snap slides easily into the hemisphere. When inserting the second swivel snap into the hemisphere, pinch the adjacent sides of the hemisphere together to create some extra space to allow the snap to snap into place. See picture.

CA glue works well for securing the hemispheres together. Ensure that you don’t get any seepage into the sphere that would interfere with the moving parts.

The tolerance for the snaps is intentionally tight and they will require some force to connect the first few times. After snapping on and off a few times, any imperfections in the interfacing surfaces will be smoothed out and the snaps should remain snug and reliable. If this doesn't work, use a small file or abrasive to smooth out the snap surfaces. (If the snaps are designed to be easy to connect right off the printer, they quickly become loose and non-functional.)

Anyways, if you can figure out what these are let me know okay?
