This feeder is developed for small birds, and the staggered design prevents larger birds from landing on it.

The bottom section, holding the bird food, is attached via a twist-lock mechanism to the lid, allowing for easy refilling. It holds about 600ml/20fl.oz of seeds.

Printing

The design does not require any supports.

Layer height 0.2mm or 0.3mm should work fine (if printing the base at 0.3mm, consider printing the topmost section with the attachment parts at 0.2mm for a smoother fit).

Recommended infill settings are 10-20%.

I would advise to use PETG for printing these parts, as it will last longer outdoors than PLA.

The pictured parts were printed with a Prusa i3 MK3S and the appended pre-sliced files. They require around 245g/0.5lbs of PETG and about 12h of total print time.
