Do you know how we're always searching for tools that make our modeling projects smoother without breaking the bank? Well, I've been tinkering a bit and came up with something pretty handy - a pair of Reverse Tweezers. I call these creations PennyPrints because, believe it or not, each costs less than a dollar in filament, and they're a breeze to print in under 30 minutes.
These aren't your average tweezers. They work on a reverse mechanism—squeeze to open and release to hold. This is a game changer for those fiddly bits and pieces we all dread dropping just as we're about to place them perfectly. Whether you're applying decals, positioning tiny components, or just holding something steady while the glue dries, these tweezers have got you covered.
I thought about how we often repurpose tools or shell out more cash than we'd like for hobby-specific gear. That's why I designed these. It's all about getting that precision and ease without spending a fortune on specialized tools.
Print some out for your friends and take them with you to your next modeling day or tournament! I'd love to hear what you think or if you have any DIY tool hacks of your own!
