3D model description

Articulated Exo-44 featuring working hatches, rotatable upper body, rotating weapon mounts, swappable weapons, working leg joints! (I honestly got confused if it was 44 or 45, but its the only mech in HD2 so yes its that one, and in the future all of them)

Model features the Exo-45 with the Missile Launcher and the Gatling gun Attachments with modularity to include different configurations and future updates (as apparent from Helldivers one with different version of the mech with different loadouts), basically making the mech hot swappable with different loadouts.

Made from in-game screenshots and references from the web amounting to a total of 26 hours spread across 7 days. Found it a very challenging endeavor making these articulatable with at least a degree of stiffness to ensure posing is right

Future versions of this would include:
1. Other weapons for other mechs
2. A better way to adjoin the foot part to the lower leg as it is currently single-jointed and the in-game model makes use of a double jointed system(?), basically the foot is offset forward in this model as compared to in-game where it is a tad behind to center the weight
3. Quality of Life improvements, better design for the fitting for legs and weapons

3D printing settings

0.2mm/ 0.4mm nozzle

Some tips for the model
1. The Hip joints are ball and socket joints, if you find them too loose even after using the locking system, i find that applying cyanoacrylate glue to the ball while rotating it while it dries ensuring it doesnt stick makes the joint stiffer.
2. The connecting pegs that are ajoining the multiple leg parts are a bit stiff at first so i would suggest either positioning it one at a time by removing then re-placing it if you're scared of breaking any part. Otherwise they work as how joints usually work, I used PETG for all of these prints, PLA might be a better choice for these connectors as i found they are a bit softer than PETG.
3. For the pistons, i would suggest using a silver or black rubber band from the hook of the foot to the top and sticking it there
