3D model description

I wanted something more than just the standard Han Solo in Carbonite you see everywhere, so I made a storage/trinket container!
I then decided that I could make this with the lid and actual Solo in Carbonite plate as separate pieces, so I can make other plates that can be printed instead of Han. This is why there are 3 files with this print.
The plate will need gluing to the lid itself and painting is recommended, but not required.

I designed this using Blender 3D, with the Han Solo plate made from scratch using a 3D scan of an old prop I found years ago as a base to build on and cleanup.

3D printing settings

Overall tub size inc lid is 170x82x50mm.

Printed by FDM on an Ender 3 pro with generic PLA, using a 0.4mm nozzle and printed with 0.1 layers.

Print speeds will vary depending on your printer. I printed the tub at 60mm due to the detailed areas, the lid at 100mm and the Solo plate at 40mm

Tub and lid do not need supports.

The Solo plate can also be printed without supports if laid horizontal, however, if you're confident that your printer can do it, I would recommend printing it vertically with supports.
