Description

Although there are only 2 of us in this household we seem to have a few sets of sunglasses lying around, there is no storage solution for them and we don't have cases etc not for all of them anyway so I thought that I would try and make a storage solution for them.

This particular storage device is not for the wire frame sunglasses, it's more for the thicker frame glasses which is what we have the most of.

It's an easy solution as it's vertical so doesn't take up a lot of space, it's difficult to design something which caters for all types of sunglasses, it would look more like something out of a store:)

If I was keeping this in one position I would use some double sided tape or similar to hold it in place, or neoprene pads or something, but placing a finger on top to add or remove the glasses works ok for us in the position where it lives for now.

To add the glasses, open the arms tilt up and slot into the holder, close the arms, to remove do the reverse.

The print just fits on the X1 Bed diagonally and doesn't need support.

To assemble, push the tower into the base, it's a snug fit and doesn't need any glue.

There you have it, a simple vertical storage solution for the majority of non wire frame sunglasses.

Thanks for Looking.
