Description

Airless Ping Pong Ball 2.0!

Now with more bounce, stronger, thicker, more fun!

Prints without supports for easier post processing

For best results, print in PETG, or a tough PLA! ABS also holds up well. Regular PLA tends to crack easily.

Brim is necessary. If you are having adhesion issues, clean build plate with alcohol and increase brim to 10mm.

they came out perfect. I used Bambu TPU 95A HF with your TPU settings right from my iPhone in handy app. so cool

I didn’t know you could print multiple at once using the handy app! That’s really neat!

There is support remaining on the inside of the ball which causes an imbalance of the ball. Additionaly there is some grinding needed on the bottom side to make the surface round so that the ball is not jumping in an unexpected direction. Also on the bottom side of the nearly horizontal bars the is a lot of curling.

Thanks for the feedback! It’s certainly not perfect, and the geometry does make it not the most ideal print. Sorry it didn’t meet your expectations, but I appreciate you trying it out!

Oh no! Sorry to hear that :( Hopefully the next try it'll print correctly, I don't see anything in your failure that would point to anything obvious

Sorry to hear about your adhesion issues! I added a note in the description that should solve it: If you are having adhesion issues, clean build plate with alcohol and increase brim to 10mm

Printed in a gloss Petg. First print failed, but I slowed everything down and it turned out great.
