This is a print in place winding spool I designed for longer length soft measuring tapes (120" / 300 cm) having widths up to ¾" / 20 mm. This model will also work for the standard 60" / 150 cm, but I previously published one that fits that size specifically - here

After removing from the print bed, use a little force to free the spool from some small support, and run the spool back and forth a few time to smooth it out. Putting a few drops of light oil in the top center hole will make it run even smoother. I've printed in both matte and basic PLA with good success.

Do not use supports. You may get a floating regions warning from your slicer telling you to use supports or to reorient, but print the model bottom side down without supports. I also suggest using 0.2mm layer height if you choose not to print with the uploaded .3mf print profile.
