Spice carousel, spice holder, illuminated

A little ambience in the kitchen, on the dining table, or simply a little better legibility of the spices in dimmed light. I think it's a real eye-catcher.

My idea was to create a spice rack that would not only be functional, but also have something special and yet be kept simple. This way, I could not only eliminate a bit of chaos, but also create something to look at.

° All you need in addition is a ball bearing of the size

22x10x6 or 8mm and a wire light chain with time function

and batteries. The string of lights I used has a

length of 120cm with 60 LEDs and a 6h timer. The

battery compartment is 33x76mm.

° On my photos all parts are unprocessed. if you

want to achieve additional stability, the parts can also be

still glue them. I didn't have to glue anything.

The overall size of the spice carousel is 23x18.5 cm (assembled).

I printed everything with PLA silk

My settings for the 3D printer:

° Nozzle: 0.4mm

° Layer height: 0.2mm

° Print bed temperature: 70 °C

° Nozzle temperature: 215-220 °C ( I used the spice holders

slightly warmer to achieve better adhesion.

as these are thin-walled)

° Printing speed: 50-65 mm/s

These are my settings for the filament I used. If you are not yet so familiar with the filament, you should pay attention to what the filament manufacturer specifies and possibly carry out a test print in advance.
