3D model description

Full size imitation of the T33 armour piercing shell used in the 90mm M3 gun equipped by M36 tank destroyers and the M26 Pershing tank during WW2, and also saw use in the Korean War.

The T33 used a specially heat-treated solid AP projectile paired with an aerodynamic ballistic cap which was capable of defeating the armour of Panther tanks and could penetrate the side of the King Tiger at close range.

You can build this as a complete version or cutaway (or mix and match the parts as you like). It prints easily in 3 parts - tracer, projectile body and ballistic cap.

Approx complete dimensions: 375mm (14.75") in height and 90mm (3.5") diameter.

Great for a historical display or for re-enactment.

Printer with minimum 250mm Z-height print space required!

0.20mm layers recommended.

Parts pre-oriented in best printing position.

You may need to use supports under the tracer recess in the base of the projectile body. Supports are not required elsewhere.
