Prototyping tracked vehicles - The undercarriage

This is the undercarriage (still incomplete) of a tracked vehicle from my brain torture room.

Based on this undercarriage with movable track baskets and tracks, I will develop various tracked vehicles.

** Update 03.04.2024: The file undercarriage update 0204.2024.3mf contains all necessary parts including the new track support rollers**

First comes a 150-ton quarry excavator, then a bulldozer and finally a main battle tank. All on a scale of 1:24.

The model is constantly evolving and individual components may be adapted to specific models.

You need the following files:

Undercarriage Basic - The complete model. Or:

1 x floor pan

1 x floor bracket

1 x chain carrier

4 x chain wheel

2 x chain

1 x base plate

The base plate will be adapted to the specific model if necessary.

As a general rule, the dimensions of the undercarriage will only change according to the size of the finished model.

Comprehensive changes to the undercarriage are documented here and the corresponding files are replaced by the newer ones. For example, the previously missing support and guide rollers for the chain. These will be added in the short or long term and then the floor outriggers must be updated accordingly.
