Description

As a follow-up on my temperature-tower for Bambu Studio, I created this Acceleration-tower. (and also a speed-tower). Its width is designed to fit in a 1x2 gridfinity basket.

The general presets work, but I want to explore the effects of faster acceleration settings. I designed and tested it for a Bambulab X1. The G-code is based on height, so if you copy the G-code you can also use it for other printers.

 

You can select any kind of filament profile & settings you like (also PLA, ASA, etc).

The g-code is included in the preselected "Bambu …. - Acceleration" machine profile. In the section ‘g-code layer change’. (included in the 3mf project file).

You can also choose to open de 3mf as geometrical-data only with manual adding the G-code. Or you can use the simplified STL, e.g. for use with other software.

 

All 3mf-files include a 0.4 and a 0.2 nozzle profile with machine G-code (and settings preset ) for the acceleration tower.

On request I have added the last file which also includes 0.6 and 0.8 nozzle machine profiles (and settings preset), but as I only had a 0.2. and 0.4 nozzle, I could not test this last file.

 

Please feel free to try-out and find your own settings. And let them know in the comments.
