3D print your own Star Wars Tantive IV made from 3:1 scale replica of popular toy interlocking bricks.

The Tantive IV first appeared in the 1977 film Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and holds the distinction of being the first ever ship to appear in the franchise.

The design of the ship was originally to be used for the Millennium Falcon, but it was found that both the name and the spacecraft were too similar to the Eagle Transporter from concurrent television series Space: 1999. Thus it was modified and used for the Tantive IV, which had less screen time and didn't have a bird-related name.

Printing Guide

It is recommended to use the print profile I have provided to print this model. I can't guarantee that you will achieve the same success I have, but after several test prints and trial and error, I know this to work. I also recommend printing on a smooth surface PEI plate so your pieces are not textured.

Filament

The print profile is separated by color on each plate. You can use whatever filament you have on hand, but I used:

• Bambu Lab Gray PLA Basic for the Light Gray
• eSun PLA+ White
• ZIRO PLA Red

Print Settings

The print profile is set up to print two wall loops and 10% infill on Cubic, however you can tweak to your liking.

Supports

Again, I recommend the settings I have in the Print Profile. Most parts can be printed without supports, as the Bambu bridges the pieces very well, but the ones that need them are already set up to be supported and also easily removable. Some may need needle nose pliers to be removed.

Assembly

Look at the diagram below to assemble. Pretty simple. Some parts fit great some are tight and some are loose, but overall it holds together.
