Description

Self Watering Bonsai Planter with a 300ml internal capacity enough to go a week without watering your bonsai tree.

The single-piece design prints in place, no need for supports, rafts, or brims! All internal architecture is built-in.

The design is minimalist, and has a watering hole which doubles as a visual indicator of the water level inside the planter.

I've also inserted rolled cotton fabric (5mm cotton string also works) into the holes to aid with the capillary effect. As the soil dries, it sucks up water from the reservoir below. See the image below for reference:

This came out fantastic. I used PLA-CF in both gray and black. Very sturdy feeling and mechanism works pretty well.

This was a fun print. I can't wait to fill it with some plants for my wife. It was just luck hat I ran out of the filament I started with and had to use a different one. I think it looks great.
