3D model description

Evanix Rex variants / Gamo TC-35, TC-45 shroud pistol rifle and carbine.
This design is a fully enclosed removable shroud and allows for foam inserts to further suppress output noise and take on the additional air volume pre-supressor to further reduce noise.
Note: ButtStock and tube slide seen is still in beta [3/23/24].
Tubes and spacers adapt to any barrel length from pistol to Long gun. The end is setup to allow mounting of a suppressor either direct (to later be released) or use of an adapter to mount a commercial DonnyFL (This mounts in place of the "Interchangeable rear endcap". I make use of the larger thread and mounting surface to support 3d printing. This was designed around the .35 but can be used with any taking in account that the out port hole may need be sized up for larger calibers. Alignment is critical and all tubes should be installed (CA glued) while mounted to the barrel as any offset could result in misalignment and strikes on your suppressor. (Note: Barrel is to align, not to be glued to. This is self contained and removable). Cutaway image shows internals, barrel sleeve is 4 prong attached unlike image depicting 1 due to angle.

The design includes all files to make any size shroud as well as fit the mount on the two version (old and new) supplied with the REX line as well as the Gamo TC35, TC45. Includes spacers adapters and protectors.

3D printing settings

PETG or PLA+, 100% infill. Layer Height <.14. 999 Wall count, supports normal/snug.
Print orientation is shown in attached image.
Print slow to allow adhesion.

All parts list length to customize to your barrel length with a few tubes of different length (same name denote same function). The 5mm "'add on spacer"(s) should be added in slicer to mid tubes if more length is needed for custom part/fit. Leave ~10mm from barrel end to shroud end to allow air to escape back into shroud.

There are two versions of the mount (that I know of) as the older Evanix mount used a dual threaded piece, later used three threads. The "old" will fit both types, the new will not. Both will fit flush to the frame if used on the correct mount but the old adapter on a new mount will leave a small gap at frame and add a little extra overall length. Please test fit parts prior to gluing as you can reprint to get the optimal option. fit and length.

Tubes allow for foam inserts to reduce noise and dampen flow. Cut vertical like french fries and insert in each segment. See last images how I cut an placed them in parallel. Place this all around to fill in the voids. press in semi tightly to be more dense. Keep away from joints (note: my example shows how it is inserted and not the finished location). The use of the inner barrel sleeve keeps foam clear to be removable. I used mattress style foam but any dense foam that can pass air can be used (open cell).

Can be shot without end cap but end caps assist with directing air noise.
Light sand all threads to remove burs >220grit (or at least finish with).
