Undead Whale Skeleton Necromancer Airship Miniature Fantasy Flying Ship Compatible with DnD Spelljammer

A miniature of a flying ship built into the rib cage of a whale skeleton. Good for use as the undead vehicle of a necromancer or lich in Dungeons and Dragons or other tabletop fantasy games. The design was inspired by the skeleton ship from Dungeons and Dragons Spelljammer. The skeleton was based on whale fossils from the Eocene period.

I made this to use in a Spelljammer game I’m currently playing in. A world was taken over by liches and their armies of the dead after its entire atmosphere was rendered incapable of supporting life. Now they send out these undead ships into space to collect fresh bodies and souls to sustain them and their forces.

This model is at a scale of 1:600. This is the same scale as the official Spelljammer ship miniatures made by Wizkids. It’s about 5 ¾ inches (146mm) long and has a wingspan of 3 inches (76mm). The stand is a separate peace with a 2in (50mm) diameter base.

Files are included for both a pre-supported and not pre-supported version. The stand can be printed as one piece or you can just print the vertical peg of the stand to glue to any base you want.
