3D model description

If you fly R/C jets, you know what an air trap or 'UAT' is. Air in the fuel feed to the turbine = flame out = bad day...

The common challenge with UATs is they don't have any fastening features, so you'll need to construct some kind of equipment tray with a big hole in it, then hold it down somehow. They also need to be strong, because even 4oz of fluid at 10+ g's adds up quick.

This set of 3 UAT cradles each use a single zip tie around the tank, so you can just zip it screw it down to your equipment tray. It fully constrains the UAT at a slight nose up angle to push bubbles out when refilling. 3x screw patters are supplied.

I'm an R/C Jet enthusiast. I flew my first turbine in 2000, and my garage has been a total mess ever since. I'll try to post as many useful model components as possible. All I ask is that you buy me a coffee for my efforts. :)

3D printing settings

I use SunLu or eSun PLA+, but feel free to use the brand of your choice. Some filaments are stronger than others. My printer is a Snapmaker 2.0 350T

0.2mm layer thickness, 20% Or more infill. You will need supports, though they are very small - just needed to bridge the Zip tie hole.
