I use almost all sunlu spools so when I have to respool something I usually use the empty rolls. There were some other adapters for the V-Spooler out there but I hated having to try and hold multiple pieces together while screwing them down. This makes it much easier to do. I also added a notch where you can feed the filament through the hole on the spool to keep it locked in while respooling. This does have to be printed with supports but I had no issues and it turned out as a clean print.
