Hello! this is the intake from team 16028 Mecha Knights as well as a sneak peek at our robot.

FEATURES

This intake uses 2 axon minis and 2 two inch compliant wheels from andymark.

this intake is a complete modular design and can be used in a variety of ways.

Spring loaded Pixel stack holder: by using a metal rod and a spring, the intake holds the stack in place allowing for ease of intake without taking any penalties

It holds two pixels at a time and cannot hold anymore to avoid penalties.

bearings can be placed on the sides to allow the intake to slide across the ground.

Replaceable flaps: this intake uses a super thin flap to easily go under the pixels. this flap can be ruined pretty quickly by reckless driving. so we replace them every few matches or so. (these are printed in tough PLA and then strengthened with clear packing tape, make sure to bend the front down ever so slightly)

MOUNTING
this intake is mounted by sticking a rev extrusion in the mount. Next use a 45 degree metal bracket and drill holes were they line up. (I have included everything as a .step if anyone wants to make it custom to their robot, just make sure to post as a remix and tag us on Instagram!)

this model can be set up extremely fast. We made a repair after breaking our first one in a match in under 10 mins.
