I’m putting one of these together for myself. if it’s ok, I could offer kits for those who want one, since I’ve got to buy extras of a lot of things anyway. with and without board assembly. with and without printed parts or full assembly (if ok)

Go ahead, I just want to be credited, and if someone want to "Buy me a coffee" I'd be glad ;) Also check the new "User manual" for the operation of the device (Software part).

I would be interested in the electronics package. I can do all the assembly and soldering, but if you have to order in quantity, we can reduce some waste by getting together on this. Or just let me reimburse you for a portion of whatever you have extra, and I can source the rest. I know it costs a lot more to have 1 printed PCB VS doing them in larger qty. LMK what you think.

I don’t really need this but just commenting to say how impressive the engineering is behind this project. hopefully we’ll see more from you!

Thanks, I have some projects on thingiverse if you want to see, but I'm new here, just bought a P1S and 2 AMS a couple weeks ago.

I noticed the piece the prevents reverse rotation likes to bind. I greased the inside with some food safe grease and that worked, but I’d recommend a block next to it to prevent it from trying to rotate. as an aside, I also found it unnecessary to secure to PCB for the tray and somewhat annoying to do so, so I’m leaving mine free floating. they are held very securely by the header slots in the body and lid.

That should do it. just don’t fillet the edges adjacent to the sliding piece. can’t tell in your render if they are.

No I didn't fillet inside. The new profile is up.

The 5/8” washers from Menards are just a tad too big. had to grind a bit of a flat on one side. Also needs 31 of them.

I've adjusted the 2 bases so larger washers like that can fit :)

Hi @shaztech, I had an instance where one tray only moved 1/2 of a slot. I had to open it up and do some surgery to get the tray to turn 1/2 spot to get it back in sync. The tray was almost full of a mixture of tablets, so doing it without spilling contents was a fun challenge. Maybe a 'single advance' button could be added to the tray config page? Just an idea. Not critical and just basically a convenience option.

Do you have a photo of your mechanism ? I've modified the arm not long ago as some servo's are taller, and there was an interference with the servo and the arm. Please check you have the latest model.

Here is one of the trays. I’m not sure if this is the one that only moved 1/2 space. but all trays were printed with the same models.

The head on the 3 screws on the arm seems tall. Maybe they are interfering with the cover. Also check that your torsion spring is not giving too much pressure on the tray. Mine is really smaller.

I have kits available for those of us in the US to make things cheaper, since much of this is much more expensive in small quantities and I’ll have left over parts from making my own. These will be my prices to start. If there is greater interest I can bring costs down a bit with bulk orders. keep in mind the parts of qty 10 would just be per tray prices, depending on how many trays you plan to print. Some parts are still on order in limited quantities, and will be a week or two to ship. get your order in now to get on the list. Pick only the parts you need. you can buy from me as many or few parts as you need. shipping is $6 to the continental US. please PM me if interested. Thanks. you may also email me at 09-snakes.timbres@icloud.com This email address could change if it starts to get a lot of spam. I’ll update here if it does.
