3D model description

Inert replica of the French army's 1951 undetectable anti-personnel mine (MI APID 51), used in particular during the Algerian War. Highly detailed 1:1 scale replica.

Three different versions of the igniter are available: model 1951, model 1953 and model 1959 with its safety cap. The igniter screwing key is also present, but is not really necessary for screwing the replica.

The body can be printed in two parts to ensure that the bottom markings are well executed. This also allows you to weight the lead before closing and gluing it, the weight of a real one being around 100 grams.

The priming instructions are inscribed on the replica, as they are on the real thing.

Photo 1 and 2: painted models, with the three different igniters and screwing key.

Photo 5: Markings under the lead ( Manufacturer, batch, date)

Last photo for reference: original MI APID 51 mine with 1959 model igniter and safety cap.

3D printing settings

PLA, PETG, etc...

Support recommended for printing igniters, required for the detonator shaft under the mine.
