3D model description

The Volkssturmgewehr 1-5 (People's Assault Rifle) was a rifle developed by Germany in the late stages of World War II, with five different models available. Their designs were very simple, some of which were derived from the Mauser Kar98k rifle. Due to the severe lack of resources in Germany at the end of World War II, the quality was not as ideal as in the early stages of the war.

The VG 1 rifle is a manually operated bolt type rifle that uses a simple swivel bolt mechanism. Two symmetrical tenons on the bolt, similar to Mauser's, lock into the barrel for locking. The rough handle is locked into the stamped receiver as the third safety tenon. This gun is fed from the G43 magazine. The manual safety is very rough, consisting of a bumper fixed behind the trigger. When the safety is turned off, the bumper blocks the trigger and the trigger cannot move. The stock of the gun is no longer as delicate as before, only made of rough wood and not painted or oiled. The shutter cannot be adjusted and is used for zero range aiming in combat. It is manufactured by the Zbrojovka Brno gun factory in the Czech Republic today.

I have set them to a 1:35/1:72 ratio for easy printing, and the size comes from the data provided by the encyclopedia. You can adjust its size to any place by yourself.

Note: If using the model for 3D printing, model repairs may be needed
