Description

French text (english follow).

The adapter allows the attachment of a flexible conduit in front of the Bambu Lab P1S evacuator.

This allows the connection of an external carbon filter which is much more efficient than the small filter which fits into the evacuator compartment.

To attach the slide plate, you need three M2.6X6 mm 'SELF-TAP' screws. This type of screw is available from Hammond Canada under number SC519-50 (pack of 50 screws). Printing is done with standard PLA, 0.2 mm nozzle, standard quality. The plate is provided with a slide ready to receive an adapter to a flexible conduit attached to an external carbon filter. The flexible conduit has a nominal diameter of 106.4 mm (4")

As for the external carbon filter. I use the set designed and sold by Vivosun. However, the mounting of the fan must be reversed to "push" the air towards the filter and not "suck it in".

In operation, the assembly proves very effective in eliminating odors when printing with particularly odorous TPU filament.

As for the files included here, the 3mf model allows you to print the adapter and slide plate. The OpenScad file only provides the slide plate model. Although the adapter model can be used to make the connection between the 3D printer and the flexible conduit, it is not yet used to make a good connection with the Vivosun evacuator. There is still development to be done...

please check the frame that goes to the printer, I think you forgot to remove the part im pointing in the picture because the hose adapter can't slide in it.

Hello joluca, I am really sorry for this error. I deleted the offending model. Let's put this down to my inexperience with the MakerWorld site where I published the good model and the defective model! I re-published a 3mf file with the two pieces each on a platter.

Hello metamorf85,The impression of the screw is literally buried in the supports. But in my experience, the brackets come off easily. On your side, what went wrong? What was the orientation of the part on your print bed?
