Description

Quarto is a 2 players board game invented by Blaise Muller

The game consist of a 4×4 board and 16 pieces.

Pieces have four characteristics:

Size: short or tall

Colour: 2 different colours

Shape: circle or square

Hole: piece with hole or piece without hole

The object is to place the fourth piece in a row (vertical, horizontal or diagonal) in which all four pieces have at least one attribute in common. The twist is that your opponent gets to choose the piece you place on the board each turn.

How to play

  • The first player selects one of the 16 pieces and gives it to his opponent.
  • That player places the piece on any square on the board
  • Second player chose a piece of the remaining 15 and give it to his opponent
  • That player places the second piece on any square, and so on…

The game is won by the first player to complete a four pieces row of at least on attribute in common and then call “QUARTO!”

I'm missing just one piece! Any way I can only print the one piece? Are they the same size as the original travel sized quarto game?
