Locomotive nw_jclass

The NW J-Class locomotive was a class of steam locomotive used by the Norfolk and Western Railway (N&W) in the United States. These locomotives were part of the N&W's steam locomotive fleet and played an important role in its operation, especially in freight hauling in the Appalachian Mountains.

The NW J-Class was composed of steam locomotives with a 4-8-4 wheel arrangement, also known as "Northern".
