Description

DJI Ronin 4D Monitor Hood / Shade

I couldn't find a design online that worked for me, so I designed this in OnShape that uses velcro to attach to the monitor of the ronin 4D.

Velcro I used is here, from Bunnings Wharehouse department store in Australia.

I have included 2 versions here, one that you need to use a strip of self adhesive velcro both on the monitor and monitor hood. And the other where you can use velcro loops (cutouts are on the bottom and top) in order to not stick anything semi-permeant to the DJI ronin monitor.

See below how I have applied velcro to the hood.

I printed in PLA-CF in the picture, but I'd recomend PETG, PETG-CF or even TPU (Orange hood in photos) where you can achieve a very flexible part that can be stashed into a camera bag easier.

Use can use my print profile in the 3MF that has the best settings for PETG.

Enjoy!
