3D model description

This creation features a special design for mounting the Parrot Sequoia multispectral camera. The mount is easy to assemble and locked in place using a dedicated DJI Gimbal locking mechanism.

The creation contains several parts:
1x left camera shell with lens cutout
1x right camera shell with lens cutout
1x Parrot Sequoia shell bottom connector
1x Parrot Sequoia shell upper connector
1x DJI gimbal extend
1x DJI lock-in-place plate connector

For assembly, you will need:
4x AS 1420 M3x16mm screws
2x AS 1420 M3x20mm screws
1x BS 4168 M5x12mm bolt or Camera Mount dedicated bolt with plastic head
2x ISO 7380-1 M4x35mm screws
4x AS 1474 M3 nuts
2x M3 nuts with glue
1x AS 1112 M5 nut or M5 with glue
2x ANSI B18.2.4.2M M4 nuts or M4 nuts with glue
(Camera mount specific standards for size reference)

The camera shell is mounted on an adjustable hinge if you want to set a specific angle, similar to any standard mount (for example, GoPro).

The whole assembly mount is designed after reverse engineering the DJI original camera mount. It locks in place similarly to it.

Sequoia protective screen can be put on after assembly.

The design of many individual parts is made to avoid weak points of FDM 3D printing, which is why there are more bolted parts than parts printed as a whole.

3D printing settings

Every parts (except gimbal mounting plate) is made on FDM printer - Bambu P1S using Spectrum ABS Smart and 0.2mm Strenght default printer preset.

The Gimbal Mounting plate was made Formlabs Resin 3D printer using Durable resin.

For FDM print i attach photo of parts positioning for best results and less supports.
