Description

THE LINKEDBIN PROJECT HAS NEW ADDITIONS! CLICK HERE TO SEE THE NEW A1 MINI DRAWER AND XL DRAWERS https://makerworld.com/en/models/418604#profileId-321159

NO SUPPORTS & PRINTS EACH UNIT FULLY ASSEMBLED!

Finally a good simple print in place solution to some desktop drawers. drawers are large enough to fit pretty much all of your 3d printing tools like flush cutters/ deburring tools/ scrapers/ etc.

If you are like me then you have drawers but throwing these tiny tools into these massive drawers leads to losing everything, this is my solution to my own headaches and hopefully yours also.

These desktop drawers are meant to have a small enough footprint to not impede your space but be large enough to be useful. These use a low material cost dovetail joint to form a user friendly stackable masterpiece of your own creation right on your desk or workshop.

TO LOCK TOGETHER

Simply just push the stubs that are toward the front of your drawer into the slots then push forward while lining up the stubs in on the back end

Printing my third print now these are fantastic for my garage or desk. I love your tv stand idea and can't wait to print that while at work tomorrow. I love that i can print stuff all the time and not worry unlike what im dealing with on other printers and communities right now. I ran out of black on my latest print. Holds more than my hanging bins from HF or elsewhere. Thanks a ton.

Really useful, especially because it's PiP, myself and my friend love these at our workshop.

I'm wondering if they'll print at the max size the bed offers. Have you perhaps tried that by simply scaling it?

It was a little difficult to get the drawer to come out but it is a fantastic drawer!

I had this happen in one of my prototypes, where did it happen on yours? I added tolerance and reprinted it and I thought I totally corrected this issue. Sorry about that, also this may be caused by over extrusion on your printer but I’ll see if there’s any way I can compensate for this in the model. also just to rule things out, did you print my designer profile or the 90% scaled one? thank you for the feedback it’s very much appreciated

I used the designer profile. I want to say that it was the back that got stuck but it's hard to know for sure.

I’m glad you like them, check out the other model page (link in description) if you want to make dividers for those drawers - some people asked for them so I just got around to it yesterday

I feel that this thing may need magnets to hold drawers in place. perhaps add two holes in the curved area in the back?

thank you for the feedback, I like the idea of having more of a lock to it but I really want to avoid having to make anyone do any work after it comes off the plate as I like to make things that are one and done. that being said I think adding a groove to the bottom of the drawer along with a slot for it to fit in towards the front should achieve more of a locking feel also - what do you think?
