Description

NOTE: This is meant for the K1 Max. If you are upgrading a K1/K1C use the other mount from Bootycalljones (linked below)

Are you tired of running out of RAM? is your printer hanging up, or even worse, crashing? Maybe you'd like to upgrade your K1 Max to 48V TMC5160s for even faster performance! Open up all of the possibilities for your K1 Max with the Bigtreetech M5P with CB1, a compact, yet very powerful and feature rich controller board.

This mount places the M5P in a comfortable place where your stock board was, before it let you down for the last time. The board is rotated 90 degrees so all of the ports are accessible and able to reach with the stock wiring, with only a few modifications needed to adapt the SSR to the M5P.

I have optimized this mount for FDM with ASA, but have not scaled for shrinkage. Scale/input shrinkage % in your slicer. .step provided for you to modify to your liking. The mounting pegs are chamfered to fully support them. The corners are rounded to prevent warping. The inside is holed out to save on filament, but also to be strong.
