3D model description

UPDATE: 12-4-24 (improved STL quality)

Full size imitation of the Russian 57mm UBR-281U (Cyrillic Π£Π‘Π -281Π£) APHE-T (armour piercing HE tracer) shell + projectile.

This particular projectile was originally developed by the Soviets for use in the 57mm AZP S-60 autocannon against ground targets and lightly armoured vehicles, also for naval ships. Many countries in the Warsaw Pact used these as well as allies or clients of the USSR or Russian Federation. They've seen a resurgence on both sides in the Russo-Ukrainian war, providing powerful fire support for infantry.

Has the correct detail, including the base of the shell with primer, driving band on the projectile and crimps on the ballistic cap.

Prints in four major parts + printable hex rods to align and secure all pieces together (add glue for permanent strength).

I have supplied the case as two pre-split STL's with holes for the hex rod that joins them, but there is also a third STL for the complete case in case you have a very large printer or want to slice it yourself.

Approx. complete dimensions: 532mm (20.95") height and 96mm (3.75") max diameter.

Great for a modern Russian or Soviet/Warsaw Pact themed collection.

You can find my autocannon shells collection here on Cults!

(Note: This is a cosmetic imitation only, it cannot function or be made to function as a real device. I am not responsible for any mis-use of the printed items. The renders showing paint colours and markings are for
illustration purposes only.)

3D printing settings

Minimum 185mm Z-height print space required!

0.20mm layers and reduced infill advised to speed up printing time.

All parts pre-oriented in best printing position.

Supports may be required for the lower case STL as there's a small overhang in the recess of the base - depends on how your particular printer will handle it. The other parts do not require supports.
