3D model description

I captured the seat using a 3D scanner and designed the component from the generated model. It is used to securely attach tray holders with a ball mount (16mm). If modifications to the holder are required, I am happy to customize it for an additional charge.

For the screw connection, an M5 cylinder screw is required together with the corresponding nut, both of which can be inserted into the component to ensure secure fastening.

To improve the stability of the component in shear, I recommend either printing the component horizontally with supports or using an appropriate infill. This reinforces the structure and makes it more resistant to lateral forces.

With GreenTec Pro (almost as easy to print as PLA) as the material choice for printing, the part becomes heat resistant, making it ideal for automotive applications. The choice of this material ensures that the component remains dimensionally stable even under high temperatures and no deformation occurs. For additional flexibility, other heat-resistant materials can also be considered, depending on the specific requirements of the application.
