3D model description

A small vehicle playing a comparable role as the German Marder III or Soviet SU-76M, the Type 3 Ho-Ni has become the Empire of Japan's mass produced tank destroyer, delivering a 75mm antitank gun on a cheap and lightweight chassis. Given the nearly constant air battles taking place over the islands these are often deployed, the Ho-Ni stands apart from other nations equivalents by having a fully armored crew compartment, protecting them from strafing runs from aircraft's machine guns.

Proving it's worth, the existing Ho-Ni II's have also moved to the Type 3 chassis, using a 105mm Howitzer for mobile fire support.

As more and more railguns are delivered to frontline units, the new Ho-Ni Kai has been a terrifying surprise to it's foes, replacing the 75mm gun with a 25Mj railgun, letting the small vehicle punch far above it's weight class.
