3D model description

This is a 1/12 scale car inspired by the Batman Animated Series Batmobile. The DC Collectibles/DC Direct (and recently McFarlane rerelease) Batman and Robin fit perfectly.
The canopy slides on rails hidden inside the body. The wheels are capable of spinning. The steering wheel can rotate and be adjusted forward and backward.
The fully assembled car is 24 inches long, 8 inches wide and 5 inches tall.
There will be 25 pieces individual pieces to print to assemble.
Parts are optimized for sanding and painting parts before gluing the car together for best aesthetic results.
There is an alternate canopy with the windshield cutouts for the option to add transparent windshields.
It is possible to combine some for better fitment and reduce printing time. A suggestion is combining bottom sections and corresponding body sections (rear body stacked over rear bottom) to ensure wheel well and body contours align. It can all be done separately but there might be slight misalignments caused by the nature of printing.
There are tight clearances for the wheel pegs and steering wheel column so you might need to sand them down a little to get them to fit.
I used Gorilla Super Glue and Gorilla Hot Glue gluing parts together because I found they work really well on standard PLA filament.
There is plenty of open space inside the body to add in LEDs and wiring.
This is not optimized for scaling down.

3D printing settings

Printed with Elegoo Neptune 3 Max.
Lay everything flat to the bed for minimum time for printing.
Standard Elegoo PLA 1.75mm filament used.
100% infill.
.2mm layer height.
200 degrees C printing temp.
60 degrees C bed temp.
Print speed 70 mm/s.
Support settings -lines, 50 degree overhang, 15% support density.
Estimated material usage for 25 parts with supports is 2784 grams.
Estimated print time for 25 parts is 198 hours.
