Description

Fling the Poo - A Fun Mini Game for Filament Purges

Step up for an entertaining twist on using your filament purges with "Fling the Poo"! This delightful desk game turns 3D printing filament purges into hours of fun. Designed for solo or multiple players, this game challenges you to catapult colorful filament scraps into a series of whimsically designed baskets, each carrying a different point value.

The charm of "Fling the Poo" lies in its simplicity and adaptability. With a collection of goal baskets in varying sizes, and score signs to match, you can customize the difficulty level to suit everyone, from novices to skilled players. The set includes everything you need for a full-blown game on a single build plate, with an alternative option for those who prefer to print in color using the AMS.

Happy flinging!

Assembly

Assembly is a snap — quite literally! You'll be all set for gameplay in no time, engaging in a bit of lighthearted competition that's perfect for a quick break or a full game of fun. Whether it's a head-to-head challenge or a solo score-beating session, "Fling the Poo" is sure to bring smiles and laughter to your space. Plus, you'll feel good knowing that you're giving those filament leftovers a second life, one joyous fling at a time.

Snapping in the basket props

If you choose to play with the baskets propped up, there are a variety of prop sizes. Simply put in one side of the clip and gently push in the other side toward the middle of the basket. It requires a little force, but provides a strong fit.

Preparing the poo

To maximize the fun, I would recommend cutting off the ends of the filament purges so that you have something easier to fling and play with.

Hey it's nice Do you think you can modify the catapult to put ping pong balls instead of filament poo ?

Thanks! That’s a great idea and thanks for your comment. I’m actually working on another catapult design I hope to have ready this week that is a slightly larger that should work for ping pong balls.
