Description

This is not my original print. The original can be found here: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-zip-top-spinning-top-14005

A spinning top toy powered by a single pull.

I've split the file into two plates to print parts in different colours. Added minimal supports for the handle and a brim for the top.

A very enjoyable old school toy! Wanted to print something for my youngest that dad played with or a version of it anyway. Had some trouble getting the spinner to adhere to the build plate even with the brims and failed at almost at the same place each time (include a pic of the fails) but 3rd times a charm thanks to a bit of hairspray. I was asked to create a spinner thats pink and blue so I’ll be making that at a later date. Printed in matte black and white filament. thanks for sharing the print.

Printed great! Spins fast, for quite sometime. 40% infill on the Top made it just over 40g. A bunch of fun! Thanks :)

Bed Adhesion Issue:Printed the spinner 2 times. First time with standards of the profile. 2nd one I added extra brim. Both times the spinner fell down in the middle of the print, causing some spaghetti in my chamber. Bad copy of a 9 year old model.

Yes, looks very similar. Tried to add some tree supports, this worked for me.

建议将脱落在切片软件切成两半再打印,否则极容易失败

Other Issues:3 attempts and 3 fails at the same spot where it starts to taper down on the spinning top. Tried other infills and materials.
