Description

Based off the MOMO SK50 gear knob. I have modelled this not accurately so its dimensions are not quite right but feels nice to use and easy to install.

(pictured: SK50 printed with PLA-CF)

After Print:

1. Use a scribe or something thin and pointy to poke the support out of the larger piece.

2. The support on the cap should be relatively easy to snap off and you may sand it if needs be.

How to install:

1. Remove the cap on the standard gear knob.

2. Unscrew the screw in the knob with a PH screwdriver.

3. Pull the original knob off and make sure the screw is out (you'll need this for the next steps).

4. Push on the large piece that you have printed, the flat side should line up with the flat side on the gear knob.

5. Use the screw from earlier and screw in the hole at the bottom of the gear knob using a PH screwdriver, this may be tight as the hole is not threaded so it will be tight for the first few turns then should go straight in.

6. Finally, place the cap on the top of the knob, it can vary in tightness depending on material but should go on fairly easily.
